Guidelines
We believe storytelling is a powerful solution for our world at this time of meta-crisis. At Source, we amplify content that helps shift the global narrative from despair to regeneration, from crisis to collective action. These guidelines are here to ensure all content on Source reflects our shared values and mission.
By submitting your content to Source, you agree to uphold these standards:
Intent & Impact
We welcome content that moves hearts and minds with vision and care, not fear.
Your content should:
- Solution focus: Present or explore solutions, not just problems.
- Narrative change: Contribute to narrative change, helping others imagine a better world.
- Agency building: Invite agency, participation, or understanding, even if subtly.
- Intentional ethics: Be rooted in respect, truthfulness, and the intention to do good.
We do not accept:
- Content that spreads despair without pathways forward.
- Propaganda, misinformation, or content that manipulates emotional response for engagement.
Topics We Encourage
We prioritize regenerative and climate-aligned themes. These include but are not limited to:
- Regenerative agriculture
- Forest and biodiversity restoration
- Renewable energy and decarbonization
- Ocean and water stewardship
- Circularity, reuse, and zero-waste systems
- Degrowth, post-growth and economic alternatives
- Green buildings and resilient cities
- Personal wellbeing and ecological psychology
- Animal and planetary rights
- Indigenous wisdom and traditional knowledge systems
- Tech-for-good and appropriate innovation
- Community resilience, cooperation and mutual aid
- Leadership, activism, education and social justice
- Web3, ReFi, governance and collective intelligence (if presented in context)
All sectors are welcome as long as they align with regenerative values and push the conversation forward.
Quality & Format
We care about the message more than the medium, and clarity and consistency are key. Your content should reflect care, intention, and professionalism.
All content must:
- Be original (created by you or shared with permission)
- Be shared via a working RSS feed (blog, podcast, YouTube channel, etc.)
- Include clear titles, descriptions, and consistent publishing cadence
- Aim for at least two posts or episodes per month during the pilot
- Be free of excessive noise, distortion, or unreadable formatting
- Demonstrate a basic level of production quality that allows audiences to engage easily (e.g., clean audio, legible visuals, coherent structure)
You don’t need a film crew or fancy studio. Whether you're a grassroots activist or a media team, we welcome professional, passionate storytelling done with integrity.
We welcome written, audio, or video content.
Ethics & Representation
We hold a strong commitment to diverse, equitable, and inclusive storytelling.
Please ensure:
- You represent people and places with respect and dignity
- You credit your sources and collaborators where applicable
- You speak from experience or verified research
- You are transparent about your affiliations, sponsorships, or funding sources
We are building a platform that celebrates indigenous wisdom, global voices, and lived experience.
Tone & Sentiment
The story of regeneration is one of complexity, care, and hope. Source is a home for hopeful realism.
We look for content that:
- Is grounded, honest, and constructive
- Inspires action, curiosity, or conversation
- Cultivates connection, not division
- Reflects values of care, stewardship, and reciprocity
We’re not looking for clickbait. We’re building culture.
Final Note:
We curate submissions to ensure alignment, diversity, and balance. We trust our creators to show up with integrity. We’re here to support you in doing so. If you're unsure if your content is a fit, please feel free to apply and we'll let you know.
If accepted into the pilot, you may be asked to make small editorial changes or provide more information to support effective distribution.
Let’s tell the stories that will shape the future.
